The Wanette Flag Day Association

Is an official sponsorship group with  Wreaths Across America. We are sponsoring the Wanette Cemetery where hundreds of our own local veterans rest in peace. Join us on National Wreaths Across America Day to Remember, Honor and Teach.

On December 17, 2022, we were at the Wanette Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our fallen heroes. Since many of us have close family members that are veterans, or are veterans themselves, it was only natural to include Wreaths Across America as part of our program.

We’re on a mission to Remember, Honor and Teach. Join us by sponsoring a wreath to be placed in honor or in memory of a veteran this December. Help us ensure that the sacrifices of our heroes are never forgotten.

REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

SPONSOR
So, what does it mean to sponsor a wreath? It means you have the opportunity to join a grateful nation in saying “thank you” to our veterans.

It means you’ll honor an American hero at the Wanette Cemetery on Wreaths Across America Day. It’s a day that’s been set aside to lay wreaths at the places where we remember, honor and teach about our veterans.

A veteran’s wreath is a symbol of HONOR, RESPECT, and VICTORY.
VOLUNTEER
There are several ways for volunteers to get involved. Please keep in mind that there is no cost to attend or participate in a Wreaths Across America event.

You can help place wreaths on a veteran’s grave at the Wanette Cemetery. Involve your friends and family to honor our service men, women and families.

HONOR & REMEMBER
A child, a parent, a neighbor, a friend: What better way to honor the service of a loved one and remember their sacrifice than by sponsoring a wreath in their honor or in their memory?

Sponsor a wreath “in honor of” a living veteran, or “in memory of” a fallen hero.

You can also sponsor a Patriot Pair, where one wreath will be placed at the cemetery and a second wreath will be sent to the address of your choice.
